Computer Transition

How did the computer make the transition to every day technology?
When computers were first created, they were used mainly for commercial and business as a database to store large amounts of data and files.  There were not as many people who were fortunate to own the first computers since they were extremely large and rather expensive. During the 1980s, the internet and computers started to become more popular in the United States. Today computers are not only used for business, but also for pleasure.  Computers come in many styles and sizes including desktop, laptops, tablets and PDAs and they are all used to help make our jobs and lives easier.  Instead of using textual communication and numerical data, technology has made it possible for us to use more graphical web pages.
