Office of War Information and WWII

Explain how the office of War Information contributed to positive relations for WWII. During this time, many potential soldiers were being recruited to sign up to go off to fight in the war. To keep the young men eager to enlist, they portrayed the image of the American soldier as being a hero who was doing a great honor in serving and protecting their country. They used fancy slogans and songs to further persuade the young men to enter the draft. Instead of showing the illusion of all the negative elements associated with war, they used public relations to influence the opinions of millions of Americans. They even convinced the nation to support the entry into the war.
