Greatest impact on mass comm?

What three technologies made the greatest impact on mass communications?

I think the three technologies that have made the biggest impact on mass communications are the internet, telephone, and the television. The television was and is still used today for many different purposes.  Not only is it used for entertainment, but also as a news outlet. The inventions of the telephone, television, and internet have made it easier to relay and receive information to millions of people very rapidly.  The internet and TV is also used to persuade people to think and act a certain way and to believe what the media moguls feel is appropriate. Both are powerful tools because of how fast and easy it is to communicate with people all over the world.
