Moviemaker's and Audience Age

Which audience age category is most attractive to today’s moviemakers? Why?
The age of audience members ranging from little children to young adults and groups over age 30 is the most attractive to moviemakers. Most films made today are geared towards those age groups because they attend theatres in large numbers. Young children are targeted by animation and 3D effects and they come with their parents which results in the huge turnouts of these age groups. The sale of home videos contributes a large number of the overall profits and children’s movies bring in a great percentage of revenue. Some of the more popular movies also generate income by allowing the production of video games rights.
